Sponsor a Child is a relationship between you and the child you sponsor. When you become an India Foundation child sponsor, you help a child break free from poverty, and the support reaches the child’s family and community too.

What your gift pays for

For $25 a month ($300 a year), your sponsorship gives a child school tuition, uniforms, books and school supplies for one year, along with help with food and basic healthcare.

How sponsorship works

  1. Choose a child from our list of students who need support.
  2. Pledge to support the child for one year, at $25 a month.
  3. Receive a photo of the child, their story and background details.
  4. Get yearly progress reports. You can write to your child by letter or email.
